Football: Carmel clinches playoff berth by beating Mahopac

When you say Carmel-Mahopac, you’ve said it all.
In a nutshell, it’s the North version of Rye vs. Harrison.
But this year’s meeting was even bigger than ever with a playoff bid on the line.
And it was Carmel which pulled it out 19-12 to win the Bryan Higgins Memorial Trophy for the ninth time in the last 10 years.
